John has specialized in the retail sector since 2013, most recently serving as the Vice President of Leasing & Business Development for the Atlanta Braves with the Braves Development Company. During his time with the Braves, he secured long term leases for restaurant and retail tenants including ASW Distillery, Fat Tuesday, EATaliano, Mac McGee Irish Pub, Jeni’s Ice Cream, Park Bench Piano Bar and Cultivate Food + Coffee. From 2013-2019, John managed specialty leasing and business development for the Simon Property Group in the Atlanta area at Lenox Square, Phipps Plaza, Mall of Georgia, Town Center at Cobb, Sugarloaf Mills and the North Georgia Premium Outlets.
Prior to entering the retail space, John was a sponsorship and advertising executive with companies that include the New York Yankees, New York Post and ISP Sports where he secured the University of Central Florida naming rights partner for their new football stadium.
John first moved to Atlanta, GA in 2002 after living in New York City for seven years. He is originally from Tampa, FL and a graduate of Florida State University. John is married with three children and spends every moment outside of work at either a high school baseball field, middle school volleyball court or grade school softball field.
